So, in advance of the site upgrade, I have tweaked the badges a little bit, so they are now:

forum NEWBIE: less than 50 posts. Probably not posted often enough to know the characters here, so be particularly nice to them.

forum REGULAR: 50-2000 posts. Should be proficient in both the technical and etiquette aspects of using the forum.

forum PRO: 2000 posts and more. Knows as much about the forums as I do, and probably been a member as long as I have.

I'm still awaiting news from tech support, but hoping to combine this with much improved ranking system that creates a ranking based on the quality of people's posts (measured by the number of 'likes' and/or stars given by members).

"novice" = lack of knowledge and experience

"apprentice" = not even capable

"beginner" = the clue is in the title.....

Arlo The nearest equivalent to Goebels in politics today is George Galloway - anti-semitic, far left, and was so inaccurate in his insults to the people who voted him out as to call them racists, even though the successful candidate was Naz Shah. Still typical of the way the left fling perjorative insults whenever they've lost the logical argument.
