Bah, humbug, tried it as a student didn't work then so why should it work on ebola victims?

I found it no better than half a bottle of Blue Nun.

Certainly not as good as that fellow student, JK, who acted as the control ,and used nothing except his charm etc.....!!

For sure Martin Atkinson will trump us both......

Send a hundred homoeopaths to the Ebola regions with homoeopathic biohazard protection suits and see how effective treatment is! I accept this is a Daily Mail article and as such is likely to be as reliable as a 1960's Skoda but if true is a total disgrace!

Ben Goldacre rocks ! I did`nt know he had a new book, gotta put that on my to-read list. He opened my eyes to how easily a study is manipulated into giving the results that shows it in a positive light, when there really is no difference to previous versions of that drug/food/supplement.
It made me much more sceptical of Reps coming into the clinic to promote some new drug, which has some supposed benefit,but at a greater cost than the old drug.

I think to be able to evaluate the methods and validity of any study or trial you would need to be acutely familiar with all the millions of tricks that they employ when doing these trials.....and also look at the motivation of the people running the trial.
When it comes to "Magnetic magic stuff" then most people of a scientific background would`nt really need a study to know that it is bullcrap. Sure if you REALLY believe that a magnetic armband will give you increased energy,and improve your Karma, then it probably will!
