Today she was faced with a tricksy euthanasia of an aggressive Ridgeback cross who had been biting the children/postman etc belonging to an aggressive client who owes several hundred pounds at three other practices.
We had a similar situation recently with a client with an unreasonable complaint who was becoming aggressive and threatening. I called in my trainee nurse who is all of 5ft and 6 stone as a witness in case it got uglier (having been assaulted by another nurse's boyfriend recently I decided to get the witness in early this time). She stepped in and asked him unprompted and very calmly and quietly what exactly he was concerned about. He was so taken aback that he couldn't really say and went out with his tail between his legs although he did slam the door behind him. To add insult to injury I gave him the address of the RCVS in case he wanted to make a formal complaint. Needless to say we haven't heard from him.

Re: I'm working with someone who has balls

me too.
