Just to update, following ruths post. Yes, a forum thread from here had been reproduced in a document on another website. There was nothing sinister or harmful about it, but I've spoken to the owners and they removed it promptly. In fact, they tell me that the thread was 'given to them' by a member of VetSurgeon.org, so I guess I should remind everyone that you should not share forum posts outside the site, except with the permission of the author (s) of the post you are sharing.

Stuff posted on here becomes copyright vetsurgeon, and publication elsewhere is an infringement of that. That's not because I have any interest in owning material you publish, but so that if someone does republish content from here elsewhere and you are unhappy about it, I can go and ask for it to be removed. If that has happened, send me a PM and I'll investigate.

Nothing on the internet is closed, so following on the answer is 'no' we don't.

The SPVS list gets really arsey about this and I know of a number of computers where the emails come through on a shared office computer that everyone can see.
