Unusual for Mr Abraham to miss a self promotion opportunity. Kennel Club should have jumped at the chance to promote their 'quality' puppies and the RSPCA should be ashamed for missing out on the chance of doing some good.

Yes - plenty of other people that could have been invited but those informed and silent seem sensible choices.

Perhaps next time there is anything along these lines (or other important events) then vetsurgeon would be a good place to start. Arlo has a good system for communicating with a large number of vets!

Tends to indicate welfare priorities IMO! (wanted to use that smiley for years!).

and also Marc the Vet as she was told he is interested in the puppy farms fight

No responses from any of them whatsoever (apart from automated out of the office replies)

So she may not have contacted as many groups as she could have but probably didn't know where to start and as she put it to me, she is an alien in the UK so found it quite difficult and found it very disheartening.

Considering the numbers which are being illegally imported into this country on invalid passports, I have personally reported 2 in as many months, the authorities are well aware and at local level are proactive in the aftermath but then it is too late. As this is a highly probable port of introduction of Rabies into the UK, someone, somewhere in a position of responsibility needs to get their act together.

I agree but who from the UK was invited and why did they not attend? Don't mean individuals but interested parties including DEFRA, Welfare Organisations etc.

It may be few were aware but may be people were aware but failed to be interested. This is a really important topic at present and almost none of it ends up in the press over here!
