You could have puppies vaccinated at 4 weeks and travel over at 7 weeks all above board

I'd have done what JHL did.

But if they were 16 weeks old as claimed, then they would have been able to have rabies vacs plus 3 weeks. What made you think they were younger, their size?What would distinguish a 16 week old pup from a younger one? The only possibility is looking in their mouths? Would it count to say "as a vet I don't "believe" these are 16 weeks old?

The point is that these puppies could not have been old enough to have rabies vacs + 3 weeks. This is an extremely dangerous risk to our country, and the reason why I have got myself vaccinated.

Personally I would have tried to call the immigration authorities at the british end of the tunnel to alert them to some potentially unvaccinated puppies on their way

I don't understand, you mean they were negotiating coming in without pet passports or something? Or were you curious about this immigration of Lithuanian dogs per se?
