You should be able to source decent quality chips for less than £5, but you're not going to make any money on them!

So far they have not replied.

All decent chips, on decent databases. I wonder if the Dogs Trust will be offering Pet Protect chips!!

I got the letter. I thought of writing back on the lines of "is this some sort of practical joke?" but I couldn't be bothered. Filed under WPB like most of my post.

I had a large temperamentally dodgy rottie in today for castration (2 leads, 2 muzzles, medetomidine..you get the picture). The owner declined us chipping him UGA because the DT and local police are doing a free microchipping session soon...I wish them luck

The cheap, crappy chips are excluded so the Pet Protect chips cannot be used!

The £5 is to cover the cost of the chips despite the fact that there are no good quality chips available for under a fiver (correct me if I have missed them!). Apparently Pet Log charge about £4 for each chip registered.

Not only are we expected to give our time FOC but subsidise the chips. Not me!
