However if there is inflammation in the duodenal biopsies (and especially if more severe than stomach) I would probably be more inclined to think it is part of a wider GI disease (eg IBD etc). <p> what did the small intestine look like in your case? And yes the recurrence rate is high which is another reason that the benefit of treatment is questionable. Do you have a specific case in mind?
