Coincidentally had the rep in this afternoon. We discussed it theoretically and she said that the re-start was only to confer exact strain continuity, which doesn't happen in real life a lot of the time anyway. New stock is filtering through already apparently so shouldn't be an issue for too long.

Mold was found in some vials. They advised us that it shouldn't affect efficacy -they are simply giving refunds for unused stock.

Is there a link to information about this? Hadn't heard of it - what is the reason for the recall?

They are saying restart, which obviously would not go down well with the clients. The Jockey Club, however are not concerned about mixing different brands! Thanks for your reply

We're Prequenza so hadn't even heard of it I'm afraid.

Most horses have several different brands throughout their lives as they move homes/owners/vet practices. I should think that as long as the initial 2 are done with the same brand after that it becomes relatively unimportant. What do Pfizer (or whoever it is now) suggest?
