Are you advising equine clients to have a one off booster with a different brand of vaccine or a complete restart?

Re: Equip F/FT recall

Coincidentally had the rep in this afternoon. We discussed it theoretically and she said that the re-start was only to confer exact strain continuity, which doesn't happen in real life a lot of the time anyway. New stock is filtering through already apparently so shouldn't be an issue for too long.

Re: Equip F/FT recall

Mold was found in some vials.
Most horses have several different brands throughout their lives as they move homes/owners/vet practices. I should think that as long as the initial 2 are done with the same brand after that it becomes relatively unimportant. What do Pfizer (or whoever it is now) suggest?
