Oh no! Well, we've upped the horsepower on the webserver. I think the next stage is probably to up the horsepower on the database server too. I'll talk to the techies on Monday.

It is beginning to look that way; looks like it was the database needing a re-index and a cleanout, and we probably didn't really need to upgrade the server after all that. Still it does all feel a bit zippier to me (of course it does depend on your connection speed too, so not everyone may have noticed that).

OK - we've got someone else looking at the problem this morning, so keeping they'll identify what the bottleneck is between the website and the database.

But if you are patient, wait until the yellow highlighted [I assume some sort of] code appears, say something like "Bloody Arlo, never liked him anyway" and close the program then go back into where you were, the thread that is, and your post is there.
