He is about the size of a budgie. Can anyone help me with identifying the species? I&amp;#39;d rather not just write &amp;#39;yellow-ish little bird found&amp;#39;!

Apparently there are colour varieties of these and someone (on a bird forum I use) suggested it looks like a cinnamon pied mutation of the scarlet chested parrot. My guess would be a lutino monk parakeet (slightly bigger than a budgie at ~90g) but one of the cinnamon morph rosellas is also a possibility though is larger (~120g) with a longer tail . Have you got a side on view with tail?&lt;/p&gt;

Parakeet of some sort would probably be a good start point...off to google more!&lt;/p&gt;
