Don't forget the £350 VMD charge is every four years. The PSS mugs you annually!

POM products should be closely controlled and if a VMD visit is the cost I will live with it. Perhaps non-PSS practices should have a plaque for their walls stating 'VMD inspected practice'.

I bet the general public would be just as impressed!

I will look at the new PSS modules with interest and will sign up once I am sure it will move the practice forwards.

Martin... that's a bargain. Had my WDA/WDL inspection this year.

Inspector from the MHRA took just under 3 hours to inspect things.. and then charged me a cool £1936 for the pleasure.

Aagh well - if you joined PSS you'd get your medicines checked and an awful lot more for your money. (Ok - i've had a very tough day trying to get round London on PSS business - no bloody trains running - so please don't bore me again with all the reasons why you wouldn't dream of joining!).

When they invoiced me, I queried the invoice saying I had not entered into a contract for this amount, blah blah. Of course it was only a game, I knew I'd have to pay. They said by accepting the inspection appointment I had agreed to pay the charge.

Just another of those payments-for-nothing we have to fork out to stay in business.
