Not to mention things like Karahnjukur in Iceland - a dam and hydroelectric scheme trashing a massive area of beautiful, globally important, wilderness to power a huge smelter built in a little fishing village. I&#39;d rather see an emphasis on reducing energy requirements, and smaller local energy schemes, which would also be less vulnerable to severe weather, terrorism, cyber attacks or anything else.
