It's called "Good Energy". Prices appear to be in line with the Big-6, so it's a no brainer.
supplier that claims to provide electricity form 100% renewable sources
Don't get me wrong, I am very pro renewables, but I just feel that the whole "green energy" side of the industry is becoming much too industrialised in scale because there's big money to be made, and because of that it is in danger of doing more harm to the environment than good eg the huge windfarms in some of the wildest areas of the UK (Isle of Lewis, Monadhliath mountains), and the power lines (Beaully-Denny) to link to the National Grid. Not to mention things like Karahnjukur in Iceland - a dam and hydroelectric scheme trashing a massive area of beautiful, globally important, wilderness to power a huge smelter built in a little fishing village. Having seen both before and after - how not to do green energy

http://www.savingiceland.org/2013/04/the-biological-death-of-river-lagarfljot-yet-another-revelation-of-the-karahnjukar-disaster/#more-9684

Or the industrial scale cultivation of biofuel producing agricultural deserts and affecting food security particularly in developing countries. I'd rather see an emphasis on reducing energy requirements, and smaller local energy schemes, which would also be less vulnerable to severe weather, terrorism, cyber attacks or anything else. But we just seem to be locked by government and big business into this idea that we have to export more, transport more and further, travel more, consume more... or everything will come crashing down.

Re: Good Energy

Was it disruptive when they brought the new green supply into your house?
