The Bose sounds great! Sadly, I gave away most of my vinyl albums which was a big mistake, leaving only about a dozen or so treasured ones. I do love my Ipod and I'm always impressed at how good it sounds for such a small device with so much stuff on it. In the house, I park the Ipod on a Klipsch IGroove HG Speaker dock which has halfed in price over the years ( now 66 bucks) and which delivers a great sound quality even in a decent sized room. I'm sure audiophiles would sneer but I think it's pretty good!

Lager and MP3s for me. Never owned a vinyl disc in my life, joyfully swapped cassette tapes for CDs and even more joyfully ripped everything onto various ipods.

Sounds fine to me!

My audio equipment has been relegated to history (for the time being at least) because the puppy has munched all the cables!

Wait, how did this get away from discussing high end audio equipment? I can't recommend enough to anyone with a love of music that may have obsessively collected CD's or LP's back in the day how good a decent turntable and stereo sounds.

Try the Kraken - spiced rum (it's awesome) and "stolen" brand of rum which I had in NZ recently is very easy on the drinking too!

Since going to Trinidad I've been converted to rum. Angostura 1919 is possibly the nicest spirit I've had the pleasure of drinking.

I have just finished my first bottle of English Whisky. Very gentle on the palate and wonderful!

Thought I would try it before Scotland cuts the ties and drifts into the atlantic!

I'll let you off then! I have a bottle of 21 year old Glenlivet I keep looking at, but don't dare break the seal!

(the Bruicladdich guys who do the Botanist gin? My good lady wife has a bottle of that, but keep defaulting back to the imported Hendrix).

Enjoying a nice 16 year old Lagavulin.

Getting married in Vegas in December. G&T from the Bruicladdich distillery - mainly as I'm too indecisive about opening any of my top shelf whiskies (Octomore commus, Octomore 10 year, Noh 28 year). Perfectly balanced man - if a little defensive!
