I can only see academia as the main option. MSc will teach you the science of a particular subject and also teach you how to do research. a Phd degree will then be the next thing after that. if&amp;nbsp; you like research then go for it. University of edinburgh is a reputable university so doing an online degree with them should not be a problem. I never did an online training with the university. It may also be worth your while to look into the university of cambridge CIDC CROP course which i attended recently. I found it interesting.
