Just opened eyes. We&amp;#39;re unsure what they are - brown rats? Appear too big to be mice. V friendly and lively (hence not great pictures)

&lt;p&gt;A chap I know and trust (gamekeeper) was having trouble with fly-tippers. Saw a white transit van pull up at dusk, so he watched through binoculars.&amp;nbsp; Chap in RSPCA uniform got out and lifted six (as far as I recall) cages out of the van and released six foxes. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Over the next two nights he lamped and shot six foxes. A couple of the females had clipped bellies and stitches. (there might have only been 2 females?). &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s common getting urban foxes caught and dumped in the countryside, where they are unable to cope.&lt;/p&gt;
