 I&amp;#39;m suspicious of the price tag, it seems very cheap at &amp;pound;415. I honestly think they work on the confusion as to who the awarding body is the European certs (for equine it is &lt;a  target='_blank'  target="_blank" href="http://www.eceim.info/"&gt;http://www.eceim.info/&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you go on the ESVPS site the fee you mention is the examination fee.The conditions are&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
			To achieve the GPCert(EqP) candidates must complete and pass the following:
			&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul style="padding-left:60px;"&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Attend the ESVPS accredited modular training programme&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Submit one x 2,500 word case report&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Submit five x 500 &amp;ndash; 1000 word case studies&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Complete all sections of a course handbook&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Sit a 50 multiple choice questions examination.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:60px;"&gt;
			Candidates will also be required to complete the following additional study:
			&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul style="padding-left:60px;"&gt;
&lt;li&gt; Further reading on the taught subjects&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Additional study of the non-taught areas of the course syllabus.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The &amp;#39;compulsory&amp;#39; modular course is delivered by Improve and costs somewhere around &amp;pound;7500 over 2 years. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I don&amp;#39;t doubt you will gain from doing it, but it doesn&amp;#39;t give you letters after your name, and you don&amp;#39;t get anything for your &amp;pound;450!&lt;/p&gt;
