When I qualified there were about 65 in my year. Now the universities can have in excess of 200 in a year (according to my current EMS student). Perhaps a cap on total vets per year spread around more universities would give us better educated graduates because of better student integration due to lower numbers in each year. But that would of course mean less revenue for the established universities, perhaps that is really where their concerns lie. &lt;p&gt;I think more vet schools there and here is going to adversely affect the profession, but the arguments remain the same as previously when the new vet school in Surrey was announced recently.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
