We bought one a few years ago and the annual service contract with Excel is quite steep. It has been quite problematic and although I'm tempted to come out of the contract

Re: Servicing Excel Enigma Autoclave

Thanks Michael and Robert!

Huge capacity so use it less. That includes a service/installation by an engineer and the first annual check. Was just shy of £3,000. After that going to use Promets for servicing who quoted me a very competitive price.

Re: Servicing Excel Enigma Autoclave

We use a local independent dental autoclave service company - very reliable and about £250 for a full service on 2 benchtop autoclaves with excellent support if they fall over. They don't worry about make of machine. Doubt he would go to Hull but it might be worth asking your dentist who they use.
