Your LVI stamp doesn't belong to you, it is property of MAFF/DEFRA/AHVLA

Doesn't work in Firefox? What about Chrome? Or is it stuck in Internet Explorer?

when one of our vets left a few years back (and took her stamp with her) animal health phoned up a few months later to ask us if we could return her stamp. I told them that they could ask her if they liked but she was currently in India and I didn't think she'd be able to help very much.

One of our other vets lost her stamp and phoned animal health to try to get another one. They refused to send one until she got a police report saying that it had been reported lost and that she had written a letter explaining this matter. The local police found this highly amusing.

I hope the practice you are moving too is nice and that they have got lots of new toys for you .

We have been using SAM for over a year now as one of the trial practices - when it works, it's brilliant, but it does have it's problems! We've been though quite a few bugs with it over the year but it does seem to be improving slowly.

The chap from AHVLA IT came to show us how to use SAM last week and, after a brief interlude when he forgot that it didn't work on Firefox, I was up and running in about 20mins. Is it too good to be true? I would prefer some sort of confirmation that they've received my data, but other than that I'm happy. Escpecially as you don't need to record measurements for animals that don't show any reaction (the vat majority of mine).

I am still struggling to get into SAM. The practice is registered as an organisation but it doesn't like me as an individual. Been trying for about a six months now.

Vebus sped things up being able to print off lists. The the support staff could go in and enter all the measurements for ,me to log in and print it off.

Wren - what is your career move? New job or change in circumstances?

After a year and a half trying AHVLA still has not managed to give me access to SAM. Someting about my identity and password which they can't get right......... Maybe because I am supposed to be a pensioner (without a pension)?
