&lt;p&gt;Most pyo&amp;#39;s would wait until the next morning. I have done them on weekend days but never at night. Give fluids and stabilise overnight. &lt;p&gt;Interestingly, which did you do first out of the GDV and pyo? &lt;p&gt;According to recent advice on here, on receiving the caesar you should have gone to the pub and the pyo only needed a shot of alizin; the GDV should have had rads and serial scans, coupled with regular abdo taps and blood gas analysis until it was better (!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That&amp;#39;s a couple of pints, an injection and &amp;pound;3k of curative tests. A night to remember.&lt;/p&gt;
