It sounds a bit like the infamous 'black box' that some fifty years ago required a hair from a horse's tail to diagnose almost everything (that the vets couldn't).

And the "get out clause":

7-20 days (depending on pet’s size) is a period of "receiving" the frequency from the Pet Protector disc, which is why it is important that your pet does not have any larvae of the parasite, which could acclimatise to the new frequency and continue breeding. I wonder how the "charged" aluminium wears out after 2 years? Such a shame they don't seem to have got their studies published in any peer reviewed journals yet...
