I think there is some truth beneath the treacle! But it's a bit 'small animal'. On behalf of all farm vets: I agree scrubs are cute - waterproofs less so.

Today I had the amazing request of an owner to do an ECG of her 20 year old cat. The cat has no heart or other problems so why? She wants it as the design to have tattoed on her arm!!!

Haha- my husband could no doubt give you a list of reasons NOT to date/ marry a vet:

1. They are never home when they say they will be- add at least 1 hour onto the time they envision

2. They will fill your home with unwanted/ orphaned/ abandoned animals, whether you want them or not (and then not be home to clean up after aforementioned animals- see point 1)

3. They cannot leave their work at work, and stress constantly about cases you don't understand.

4. They don't make enough money!

I wish they'd had e-harmony when I was young if they are going to big up my profile for me like that, it would have been a lot easier than having to go to endless parties and actually having to talk to girls and impress them when they can actually see you and your spots..

And no-one could dance in those days either

Not sure about scrubs, but I have been at various meetings and as the room warms up you can tell what creatures they work with........
