Client last night had taken his dog to a &#39;dog trainer&#39; for his rescue dog to be socialized. &#39;Trainer&#39; had put clients dog in with his 2 dogs so that the could get to know eachother, result was the clients dogen-USTelligent Community 10https://www.vetsurgeon.org/thread/73089?ContentTypeID=1Sat, 29 Sep 2012 11:40:51 GMT146601cc-3922-4be7-9974-7e1d4e45a66b:6de90b08-ee67-4d0d-9908-d6a56ec851e7Jo Cobbett<p>I had a client apologise for being rude yesterday.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#39;d given given her GSD with diarrhoea metronidazole, and she had looked it up in&nbsp;a book at work (works in an old people&#39;s home) and seen that it was used for sexually transmitted diseases.&nbsp; She rang up in a fury 10 days later (despite being told to drop in a faecal sample if it was no better after 2-3 days) because it wasn&#39;t any better and I&#39;d given it the wrong medication.&nbsp; Having calmed down a few days later, and seen one of the partners who (I assume) had assured her that it wasn&#39;t incorrect medication, she rang up to apologise.&nbsp; That doesn&#39;t happen very often, and makes me think quite highly of her!</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>https://www.vetsurgeon.org/thread/73086?ContentTypeID=1Sat, 29 Sep 2012 11:36:24 GMT146601cc-3922-4be7-9974-7e1d4e45a66b:2ffa66b8-0f88-444f-a0c3-4f04b44ca850James Laidlaw<p>I got told I didn&#39;t look like a vet on the street where I work (walking from the tube I guess) but &quot;like a dj on the way to a club or something&quot; - made me feel all young and hip again... &nbsp;Prior to this on the phone the lady had been yelling at me because she thought I was another vet, then was all delightful and got away with it with the above comment!</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
