She has trained him to do absolutely anything by voice command only. He wears no headcollar or tack or anything, and just does all the paces and dressage movements to voice command in the middle of a giant arena, without ever trying to run away. The horse is totally focussed on his trainer, and performs comedy tricks such as removing his own rug when she puts it on his back, and tipping things over, etc - it really gets the kids laughing, but its also really amazing to see a horse so totally engaged with his owner. A lot of my friends are looking forward to seeing jousting because its so fast and exciting, and my Mum loves watching the little miniature horses performing the same dressage movements as the big horses. My Dad isn't even horsey, but he likes seeing western riding and also the driving! There's going to be a Christmas fair there as well, so I hope I don't spend too much on Christmas shopping!

Re: Magic of the Horse

We saw this show a couple of yers ago near Bristol and it was fantastic. I was completely enthralled. I would recommend anyone to go along if they can, even if, as I am, you're not usually that keen on horsey events. It's worth weraing a hat so you can throw it into the air at the highlights!
