Dog on long term steroids for some problem (can't quite recall what...), I assume the attempt was to allow the adrenals to 'catch up'. The history read:

'Plan: 1 tablet predniselone sid for 6 days, then a day of rest (on the Sabbath) before continuing same as before.'

We had an interesting home visit for PTS booked on our appointment list one day - the intention was to remind the vet to take extra help because it was a big dog (Irish Wolfound) belonging to a frail pensioner - but due to the limit on space on the appointment slot, the end of the note was missed off, and it appeared as "Euthanasia visit - elderly lady". This was shortly after Harold Shipman

I had one a while ago that read:

"Presenting problem: been to Vets Now"

Think their software started every case with "Presenting problem: ...", and Vets Now had done a good job, so there was no problem (before anyone thinks I'm slating Vets Now), but still made me chuckle!
