Bloody marvelous and typical of the useless so called charity they really are!!
Anyone want a rabbit?

Re: Bloody RSPCA!
I now make the person who brought it take it to them once it's declared fit (i.e. quick check over and if healthy, just ownerless and RSPCA orignally agreed to deal with it, go straight there)- got fed up with their stock answer of "take it to a vet". They can't generally turn them away once they're there and not ill. However I am "lucky" in that the local home in 10mins walk from us... We had a phase where we always had at least 2 stray cats awaiting collection.
This is our golden rule as well. In this case the RSPCA agreed to take the rabbit and told us the inspector would pick it up later in the day or the next day.

Once bunny was settled in we got another phone call and they had the cheek to tell me 'it is not their problem'.

I admit I did lose my temper after this and let them know in no uncertain manner what I think of the RSPCA.

We have long since removed any RSPCA material from the waiting room so not much more we can do other than encourage our clients to donate to more suitable animal charities!
