We are looking into buying a monitor/capnograph, so to spare me trying out all the different ones that are out there, can anyone comment on a particular model/dealer (for the right or the wrong reasons!)? I am primarily interested in capnography

Re: Anaesthetic monitor/ capnograph?

Great advice guys, I'm keeping an eye out for them!

Re: Anaesthetic monitor/ capnograph?

http://www.ebme.co.uk/

This is a good forum for advice, manuals etc. on medical kit like drip pumps, monitors etc. and the frequent poster here is with Southwest Medical and very helpful.

Re: Anaesthetic monitor/ capnograph?

We have two Datex Cardiocap II's - very long in the tooth but built like tanks and perform brilliantly. I bought one for less than £200. Second hand Datex machine. They were using similar when I was a student at college.

A lot of these vet ones look quite 'cheap' with high pricetags IMHO

This is identical to my one from ebay
