Further to this I dont think many players shout at the ref and tell him to f. off in rugby

But i also am a football fan as well as rugby.

As I didn't go to a public school I've never understood the weird rules of rugby (what on earth are scrums all about - looks very homoerotic as far as I can see). Now football, that's something different. I can still recall paying half a crown as a ten year old to get in (amongst 42,000 others) to watch West Bromwich Albion beat Manchester City on Boxing Day nineteen sixty something or other.

I fell over on the way home and bruised my knee but luckily had some Arnica to hand.

Heard a great comment on the radio about Scotland being 'nearly as good as every other team in world rugby'. They seem to be able to raise their game to just below the level of whoever they are playing.

Much cheer in my house . The dog has come in from the garden after the shouting at the TV stopped. I have a happy husband especially after Liverpool beat Everton too!!
