I qualified nine years ago this year, up until a couple of years ago when I started reading vetsurgeon.org I had very little interest in what was happening at the RCVS, I naively took the view that I paid them money so I could practice, and if someone wasn't happy with their animal's treatment it was the RCVS that they complained to. I assumed that the VSA prescribed what they did and they could be left to get on with it. I voted in the elections because I felt it was right to take part in the democratic process, but I struggled to know who to vote for and probably tended to vote for experienced candidates rather than those who would shake things up.

I now take much more of an interest and have been very interested in the questioning of the candidates.

Well you know the old adage - if its stuck, force it. If it breaks, we needed a new one anyway.

But no, they'd never "just send it off". They'd get one of the nurses to "just send it off".

I'll bet they don't fix any obvious fault in any of their kit either, and you have to do it or they "just send it off"?
