I note that, in true Daily Mail style, they&amp;#39;ve quoted a German professor wanting people to not breed pugs and bulldogs, and then quote someone from a UK organization to contradict him. Followed immediately by a claim that these breeds are &amp;#39;iconic&amp;#39; in the UK. They&amp;#39;re nothing if not transparent. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The idea of banning breeds so defective they can&amp;#39;t breathe or walk properly was under discussion in German universities when I went there nearly 20 years ago! I agreed then and I agree now. The British Bulldog (amongst others) is a disgrace in animal welfare terms.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
