I have been getting progressively more bugged by wearing contact lenses and then having to find a pair of reading glasses!

One limitation though is racquet sports: my timing although never good is a bit worse! Which ones do you have?, AFAIK they are two types: those with far vision in the centre and close vision round the periphery and those with an almost 'fly eye' distribution of close and distance which leaves the brain to sort it out for itself. I get on with the former best but not all opticians give you the option. Also the balance between the areas of near and far vision varies and these reasons are probably why you sometimes need several tries. I've never got dizzy with them and I get dizzy at the least excuse, I'm the world's worst sailor and get travel sickness skiing!! They are far preferable IMO than risking laser treatment.

Re: Contact lenses!

It was very odd for a minute or so. Slightly odd for 10 mins and within an hour good as gold perfect vision for me.

Most opticians will provide a test pair. Apparently you either get on with them or not! I hadn't even heard of them.

Brilliant! It is amazing how clear the dash board is when driving! The road has always been fine!!

Re: Contact lenses!

nearly there but have had controversial opinions on them - some people report being very dizzy!

Re: Contact lenses!

Not there yet but I will be at some point given the severity of my myopia so I will use them for certain!!!
