One was new and the other ex-hospital. you cannot tell one from the other. Just be prepared to change the auroscope head if you want a veterinary specific one. We manage to fit the longer speculum to the human head most of the time!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;www.gb-medical.co.uk have them starting at &amp;pound;125 but I am sure there are more if you look round. Some auction sites can be even better value. We have a selection of others in cupboards that have not made the grade!&lt;/p&gt;
