Certainly it should be done in untreated cats but it can develop in cats even when on successful (as judged by T4 levels) treatment. You are, of course, unlikely to be performing the measurement&nbsp;on untreated cats, but it is as well to know from the start what the BP is. Personally, I don&#39;t do it more frequently&nbsp;than six monthly. </p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
