He has had no previous health issues.

&lt;p&gt;had a big shock when being demonstrated ultrasound machines on my own dog found a small splenic haemangioma/sarc. The above 2 cases had no bleeding anywhere else (petechiae/echymoses), although the Rottie did start bleeding into the abdomen after a few days.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;If using Milbemax, it has to be used weekly for lungworm and I seem to think it is only licensed as a preventative, not a treatment. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We routinely use milbemax as a practice but these owners don&amp;#39;t!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is this a common presentation for lungworm? Would there be signs of clotting abnormalities elsewhere?&lt;/p&gt;

Spleen was not enlarged but seemed a little firmer than I would expect. I will chase up the report! There was no petechial haemorrhage so my original suspicion was trauma. &lt;/p&gt;

I would have thought if generalised would be seen in other areas as well esp mouth. Blood smear to check all cell lines present &amp;amp; PCV would be my first step.
