Not at all! Happens all the time on the vetnurse website and seems to work well. But I would strongly recommend you post the job in the jobs section (free, and the more people that do, the more useful it becomes). And also worth looking in the locum register, though I see the most recent entrant there has already replied!

I am interested in doing some locum work for you. I have been working in the UK since April and graduated in 2007. I have mainly worked in mixed practice with a heavy load of small animals and am currently doing small animal locums.
