&lt;p&gt;Perhaps some imaging is indicated here as a start. This might help with identification of the abdominal issues and give you an idea about thoracic metastasis and therefore prognosis&lt;/p&gt;

The rabbit spleen is quite small and rarely significantly enlarged. If truly spleen then consider neoplasia as Richard suggests,&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Other disease which affect the spleen as well as other organs are listeriosis, yersiniosis, and other gram -ve&amp;#39;s and toxo - however I would expect them to be systemically much more sick?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
