&lt;p&gt;I would go for the base of the neck as you have stated, I use tissue glue.&amp;nbsp; Be careful placing the implant device to make sure there are no vessels around. (usually there arnt but I did see one with a VERY wayward jugular once). I usually aim caudally with the neck slightly flexed, that gives good access.&lt;/p&gt;
