I recently had a guinea pig with 2 uroliths (one quite large - 1.5cm diameter).
Treated initially with meloxicam, trim/sulfas and reduction of dietary calcium - partly via supreme's urinary rabbit pellets. I'm no expert but I've seen a couple over the past few years and dietry management doesn't dissolve them and doesn't prevent them from recurring! Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember reading an article from someone who removes them endoscopically - not something I fancy, the surgey works fine for me.
