Never even thought they made it - now you have made things even more annoying for me while doing oral sutures knowing there is a suture material I could see!

at the time of writing this post, I was considering a move to Ethicon where I am now happily working. any quesitons you have about sutures now.... i should be an expert!

I think there is quite a lot of information on the websites for the suture companies who make vicryl and biosyn. details of where each product may be used, tissue half life etc

That would be my suggestion too. The Fossum small animal surgery book has an extensive chapter on materials and suture patterns near the front of the book.
