I personally would not use any non-licensed oil based ointments on wound in a dog with an allergy period especially on broken skin!

I have tried and tried -unsuccessfully - to get the makers of Camrosa ointment ( as they seem to have a very strong market by word of mouth to the public) to tell me what is in it! Clients who have used it report variable outcomes. Do let me know if you have any success!

As a homeopathic vet myself I would not recommend it and it is not in any way homeopathic. It has been used by equine clients for many years following many years of product advertisment in the equine press aimed at the general public. It is used on everything from skin grazes to sarcoids but in my experience with very mixed outcomes ranging from no response at all to an aggravated inflammatory response and increased proud flesh.

There seem to be permanent adverts for it in the shooting press. I know a few people who swear by it.

Never tried it myself.

I have a client that swears by it and has brought it in I cannot find any ingredient info either, looks like vaseline and bees wax base but what herbs etc I cannot tell you
