&lt;p&gt;My biggest grievance with my last pair (which I&amp;#39;d got as a student, to fulfil the uni&amp;#39;s H&amp;amp;S policy of steel-toe caps, and been too cheap-skate to replace) was that the tread in the heels was quite deep and tended to get small stones (often with dirt behind) stuck in firmly enough that even a decent-bristled welly brush couldn&amp;#39;t remove them - hardly ideal for quick and effective cleaning between farms. The left welly also had a hole in the upper toe from when I&amp;#39;d made a momentary miscalcluation while manually shifting silage, meaning that the only way to submerge it in a bucket of disinfectant and remain dry-socked was to curl my toes upwards; this was of course an awkward postion to then pick gravel out of the heel from...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
