 I would greatly appreciate some ideas on the following case. It&amp;#39;s an 11 year old Afghan Hound who&amp;#39;s been suffering from chronic bronchitis for years. I would question the original diagnosis as most dogs IME with chronic bronchitis succumb to it within 6-12 months regardless of treatment. However, that may be pedantic and I would have thought that the therapeutic dose of Ventolin would have little effect on the heart. When we heard that it was discontinued I am afraid I did some panic buying for one of my patients as it seemed to work much better than corvental.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am trying vivitonin as an alternative in new patients but it is too soon to tell how it compares!!
