Also heard about capstar being used and somehwere someone mentioned crushing up capstar in water and using it this way? &lt;p&gt;We saw a lot of maggot wounds when in india - and we also used a lot of negasunt!!! But then they are happy using stuff which is carcinogenic!&lt;/p&gt;

You shouldn&amp;#39;t need to kill them in a cat. When the wound is clean they should stop eating.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Just pick them out by hand&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would have thought cats would be very sensitive to Rearguard but you could probably ring the manufacturers about Stronghold or Advocate&lt;/p&gt;

I am not sure I would want dead maggots within a wound any more than live ones!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Not at all sure what activity either product would have on flies.
