 I am currently treating a 15month old boxer for diagnosed demodectic mange and secondary bacteral folliculitis.

Demodex is unlikely to be adult onset without an immune system problem which would reduce the efficacy of the vaccine and may even make the demodex worse. One case I had with demodex also had an immune-mediated thrombocytopaenia. I am not an immunology expert but just my two-pence worth.&lt;/p&gt;
