That's why they're in different sized boxes - Cat 15ml and Dog 15ml are different sizes.

Practice audited prescription errors. Probably people on site or remote.

Errors disappeared whilst audit happening.

It just reminds me of the articles in the comic (Vet Times) where a CSV?! practice has successfully spayed a bitch and stopped her from developing a pyometra........

This is the sort of thing all practices do, day in, day out. Identify and fix a problem. Not really news worthy.

Do all drugs have QR codes on them?

I do thinks it's interesting that dispensary errors make up a huge number of issues reported on VDS vetsafe, and how better systems can reduce these.

Yes, some may be technology based eg. QR code scanning or automated dispensary systems, PMSs that don't allow vets to bill up the wrong medication in the first place (eg dog meds to cats, inappropriate strengths for the patient weight), but also simple things like encouraging manufacturers to make different strength/species formulations of the same drug much more visually different including colour coded weights
