Agree re Karidox!! Vile stuff.

Bova paste usually taken well for 3-4 weeks. I think I would only treat the other cats if they have symptoms?

Oesophageal stricture/itis is a myth (n = 1000s of flu cats in shelters). Never seen it.

Yes should use karidox but good luck getting it down a cat

Tablets /paste normally easier but do make sure you do the full 3-4w. Paste they'll normally lick off themsleves, but the tablets do dissolve quickly so you could just do similar with them and water.

Thank you Rob not heard of Karidox before see it is used in pigs and chickens. Does it sit higher when it is not for the specific species? Does this formulation have fewer risks of oesophageal stricture?

If you’re thinking doxycycline liquid formulation, don’t forget to consider Karidox, which sits higher up the cascade than such specials
