personally I’ve lived there and took our elderly lab with us. I would strongly advise clients against taking youn* active and especially dogs over 20 kg at all. L8mited chances to exercise dogs in China and many people are scared aro7nd large dogs ( by which local understanding is over 20 kg). Not much fun for most dogs and owners used to a UK doggy lifestyle

Been there and got the biscuit (literally been there, and back again). Suffice to say no one checks and no one cares. You just need to find a way to sign in an honest way

Yes, there's a lot of stuff: home quarantine with pre and interim inspections (lots of home visits), disinfection of transport (virkon), travelling requirements etc

Yes, good old PenStrep back in stock after a hiatus and a change to fridge product. Could try and get some from a farm practice, but at £16 a bottle, it's not worth a lot of effort.

I've never sent a dog to China and unlikely to be of help, but Norbrook's classic Pen & Strep seems to be in stock in my wholesaler if that works for you:

I no longer see Devomycin-D listed on Norbrook's website nor in my wholesaler (datasheet can still be accessed at: https://www.vmd.defra.gov.uk/productinformationdatabase/files/SPC_Documents/SPC_143854.PDF)
