Just wondering what others use and why and where can they be purchased from
Particularly interested in tubes for cats.

RE: What ET tubes do people use, why and where do you purchase them from?

Thank you I had moved away form the red ones but still have some that are fine so I will use them.

RE: What ET tubes do people use, why and where do you purchase them from?

Thank you,

I have found the same with the cuff on the PVC tubes seems very large and often catches on the larynx even when deflate in the smaller sizes.

Use a stilette for the small silicon ones the larger silicone ones I use are reinforced so can not be trimmed in length.

I had sort of moved away form the red ones .

RE: What ET tubes do people use, why and where do you purchase them from?
my favourite silicon ones for cat can not be found at present.
Don't be afraid of red rubber even if you favour silicone. You can get them both with or without cuff. They are autoclaveable but use 121°C rather than 134°C. Safe with many "cold sterilants" too.

I'm happy using cuffed ones with cuff inflated in most cats. But perhaps we had better not get into that debate.

RE: What ET tubes do people use, why and where do you purchase them from?

Red rubber. Reusable, so tick the environmental box. Stiff. Nice curve. Tube few cats, so I admit we use the cuffed ones, usually left uncuffed, but will inflate if I think needed.

Tried, the PVC - cuff is awful and stiffens if cleaned. Lots of waste. Worry about re-use when designed for single use.

Silicone in larger sizes, but the cuffs burst. Expensive. Too floppy. Never used less than 12mm

RE: What ET tubes do people use, why and where do you purchase them from?
my favourite silicon ones for cat can not be found at present
