grows quite widely on decomposing logs, oak especially.

My dog had atrial HSA diagnosed after developing a pericardial effusion. He was a 9 year old SBTx with a heart base mass. A mass was found in his right auricular appendage during his subtotal pericardiectomy and was removed and confirmed as HSA. Put him on Turkey Tail as wasn't going to put him through chemo. If nothing else, it made me feel better for giving him something that might help. He was happy with it in his food and didn't note any obvious side effects. He had a significant bleed 4months after surgery and was PTS. Still sad but his QOL for those 4 months was 100%.

There is a British veterinary herbal association for vets with an interest in herbal medicine. They're usually quite helpful. I know they like to look at evidence based treatment as want to try and show efficacy etc

I believe some reasonable basis to its use.
